A Message from the President

Our community works very hard to maintain a good quality of life for everyone.

The North Bellerose Civic Association and five sister civics in the area meet regularly with city agencies to discuss our problems and concerns.  At the last meeting with the commanding officer of the 105th Precinct, we asked to have the lines of communication between the civics and police department easily accessible, to facilitate discussion about our safety and security, especially now that we no longer have a C-POP officer in our area.  Our Community Affairs officers are there for us and that helps a great deal.

We are in contact with the Buildings Department, the Traffic Department, as well as the Sanitation and Parks Departments.
The North Bellerose Civic Association participates in the formation of CAGE (Citizens Against Graffiti Everywhere)  That gives us an incentive to keep our area free from that blight.  We are pleased with the results.

Our schools are some of the better ones in the city, and filled to capacity. We are surrounded by a number of parks and recreation areas. That gives us a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the city.
